Backing up your claims

Uncategorized — Posted by: matt adams on October 12, 2007 at 3:51 am

So today I came across a site that fails to back up its own claims on their own work. The site in question offers a $500 service to code your web site design into a “Valid CSS code & Cross Browser Compatible” template.

What I find awesome, is that they claim all their sites will be 100% compatible in Internet Explorer 6, 7 Fire Fox (mac & PC) and Safari. Here comes the awesome part, Their own site is not cross browser compatible, a key ingredient to their service, and they cant meet it on their own site. See the image below.

Moral of the story. If you provide a service or product, with key features, you had better make sure everything is true, and you can back up your claims.

Site Launch – Tony Smith for Mayor

Site Launches — Posted by: matt adams on October 10, 2007 at 9:49 pm

Just another day, and another site to launch. Seems like we are launching more and more sites each month.

This site turned out great. We had limited time to build, so clean code and design was a must. I personally love the colors and shadows of this site.

Gateway Rips of Apple?

Uncategorized — Posted by: matt adams on October 4, 2007 at 8:19 pm

So today I hear about Gateways amazing new computer, called “ONE”. It is an all in one computer with built in LCD, CPU, etc. All in a sleek package.

Unfortunately for Gateway, Apple has had this model for 25+ years. Originally a Macintosh, but more recently (in the last 12 years or so) an iMac.

Lets peek at the most recent iMac.

Notice any similarities?

So i guess Gateway assumed since its market share is always in risk of slipping, they would copy the leader of creativity in the computer industry.

Gateway did do a good job with the design. It does look good, even if it is a knock off. Too bad it runs windows though.
