Yes, my title is mis-spelled intentionally. More details in a second.

So I try to use the powers of this blog for the good of mankind. I also keep it a goal to post positive, insightful, inspiring topics. So I’ll do my best to keep this one positive.

Our small town has a pretty good magazine that comes out once every two months. I say pretty good, because its the ONLY magazine for our city. Usually insightful, and offering solid topics. There are times that typos happen, but this one was the best.

edcuation

Yes, you read that right. A large headline, about education, spelled wrong. Now I am not one to judge, after all, some of you may know the story of a devastating misspelling on a resume I had a few years ago. I also understand as a designer, that after you have stared at something for 5 hours, everything looks either perfect, or wrong.

What I would like to stress here, is the importance of spell check. I know it wont catch everything, and sometimes corrects the word wrongly, but at least run it. I often have to run it several times, and run something by a few others and my beautiful wife for the final okay.

Anyone have any funny typo stories out there to share? I’m sure those of us reading this blog would love to share in the humor of others misfortunate typos.
