thats an interesting idea. Banks & credit card merchants often will pay the fee for a customer to break contract to switch over. Auto dealerships will pay fees for people to break leases as well.

good idea.

Yes, great customer service is key. I too hear bad things about sprint customer service, but i have never had an issue with them thus far after 7 months or so. They have been more than helpful. Maybe they are already addressing the issue. It will likely take years to undo the damage done.

Features are great. But what are the real customer benefits? 4g is fast, but is 3g fast enough? If 3g is fast enough, then offer 4g at the price of 3g. The main reason I hear Sprint is dying is customer service. I've heard that from different sources, making it at least anecdotally important. Offer to pay to break a commitment. Many families have several phones all spaced along the ubiquitous 2-year contract. That keeps families tied. I'd switch right now if I could get out of my contract with Verizon.
