Twitter tips

In a new series, I’d like to share tips on using twitter effectively as an organization. Small, short and easy to swallow tips on twitter. 

the first tips to kick off the series:

DO NOT feed your twitter posts into your blog.
People reading your blog dont care to see your @replies. 

DO feed your blog posts INTO twitter.

  1. I dont reply to posts using my organizational account in most cases. I save those for a personal side account. However, I do like to use my website/blog to advertise the fact that i have a twitter

  2. Oh I fully support/encourage promoting the fact that you have a twitter account on your blog. I am just stating that tweets shouldn’t be a substitute for blog content in RSS fed posts.

  6. Totally agree with you dude, I hate all of this twatter stuff, the media re going nuts for it over here in the UK at the moment, driving me mad.
